Make it Monday-Cookie Sheets and Cookies

Make It Monday September 17th
Cookie Sheets and Cookies for your dolls

Today I wanted to show you how to make an easy accessory for your doll play collection. Create two cookie sheets and cookies for your dolls from items you may already have on hand.

To create todays craft you will need:
-Aluminum foil
-an empty band aid or soap box
- Scissors
-a ruler
-a pencil
- tape *not shown in the above photo
-Optional fun foam sticker shapes (*if you do not have these cut circles from paper or fun foam to create your “cookies”)

Step 1- Use your ruler to determine how wide your box is. Mine was 1 inch wide. At ½ inch make a dot at the top and bottom of the side of your box and use your ruler to trace a line repeat on the remaining sides of your box.

Step 2- Using your scissors carefully cut along the line you just created. Start at the open end of your box. When you finish your box should look like the photo above.

Step 3- Tape the sides of your box together so they look like a cookie sheet with edges.

Step 4- If your lid over laps as mine did just add an extra piece of tape and tape it down. It will not show.

Step 5- Remove a small amount of aluminum foil from the roll, enough to cover one of your “Trays”, Fold the sides up around the box as shown in the first two photos. Then lift it up and place the foil inside the box and fold over as shown

Step 6- Cover the other tray, you can tape it into place if you would like along the bottom.

Step 7- Add your fun foam cookie shapes. You can glue them down or leave them as is so that the dolls can hold their cookies.
